Boredom Post #1: Sonic VS Shadow VIII:Lost Episode

Hey, guys! So I was looking through my posts and realized I never made an eighth Sonic vs Shadow. After looking in my drafts I realized I did but I never finished it. Well I finished it and here it is.
Sonic: This looks TOO easy.
Shadow: Bring it!
Announcer: Round 1. FIGHT!
Sonic: (attempts to punch Shadow) (Shadow disappears) Huh?
Shadow: (reappears) Peek-a-boo! (pounds Sonic into ground)
Sonic: (gets up) You think it's over, don't ya?
Shadow: (laughs) I haven't even started yet. (gets two Chaos Emeralds and transforms into Super form)
Sonic: I'm smart enough to bring my own. (pulls out three Chaos Emeralds and transforms)
Shadow: What?? I will not be beaten again! (they charge at each other) (they clash and Sonic kicks Shadow)
Sonic: Ungh! (Shadow punches Sonic back down)
Shadow: Chaos...Spear!
Sonic: Oh no! (deflects it at Shadow, Shadow gets hit and falls down back in his normal form).
Announcer: Sonic wins Round 1. Now for Round 2. FIGHT!
Shadow: Ok, Sonic. Playtime's over (transforms back into Super form and charges at him)
(They clash and Shadows beats Sonic down back into his normal form). Too easy, you say?
Announcer: Wow! In mere 5 seconds, Sonic is down. Shadow wins Round 2. Final Round. FIGHT!
Sonic: Can't give up now (spin attacks Shadow back into his normal form).
Shadow: Hmph. I don't need stupid emeralds to take you down (snaps and Sonic goes flying).
Sonic: Whoa! I underestimated him! (runs really fast and dodges energy beams from Shadow). Too fast for ya, huh?
Shadow: Don't get cocky with me. I'm not done. Chaos control! (disappears and reappears right in front of Sonic)
Sonic: Agh!
Shadow: Chaos...BLAST! (Sonic goes flying). Don't cross with the Ultimate Life Form.

Xbox One vs PS4

Boy, this one's a tough one. I mean, I have an original Xbox and I've always enjoyed the 360. However, I can hardly remember the last time I played a PS3. I mostly remember the PS2 being awesome next to the GameCube and Xbox when I was little. I wasn't too shocked when either the Xbox One or PS4 was announced. I knew they'd make a new one sooner or later. Growing up with Nintendo, I never really liked the 360 but I grew into it. The PS3 wasn't my thing. The Xbox One doesn't allow you to turn off Kinect and the camera stays on, and that's actually kinda sketchy. I really expected better and the commercials seem to focus very little on video games. Obviously you can play them, but it's mostly about TV and stuff. I'm actually more excited about the PS4, but I'm not quite sure about buying one myself. I kind of look forward to the new Xbox just so, if someone I know gets one, I can try it for myself and maybe I'll regret what I said. Well, with the Wii U being horrible in my opinion, I'm not too excited about eighth-generation video game consoles and would rather stick to the ones I played as a kid and the seventh-generation consoles.

Year of Luigi: New Super Mario Bros. U Expansion Pack (starring Luigi)

Hey, guys! Happy Year of Luigi! 30 years of Mario's almost sidekick of a brother due to him, for a long time, only being a second player. Since about the 90s, the guys at Nintendo have recognized Luigi's lack of enough credit, so they have made games with Luigi as the protagonist and Mario only either a side character or a goal. However, there first attempt, Mario is Missing, was rated one of the worst Mario games ever. Luigi's Mansion, the launch title for GameCube, was a huge success. Luigi's total success in starring at his own game arrived, and it's coming back. An expansion pack for New Super Mario Bros U starring Luigi arrived just a week ago and it's perfect for the Year of Luigi. Although all Luigi-starred games have Mario in it, he is completely removed. A new-ish character named Nabbit is taking his place as a fourth player, along with the two Toads from the Wii release. Unfortunately, I do not have a Wii U in my possession, but I do have a Nintendo 3DS. A sequel to Luigi's successful video game, Luigi's Mansion, came out a while ago, and I'm looking forward to both.

Let's talk about YouTube commenters

YouTube is definitely the best video website of all time. However, It's getting famous for its commenters. Since memes seriously starting spreading around the Internet, it's gotten to YouTube. There's dumb stuff like "FIRST!" and "Fake!" and "I CAN'T STOP WATCHING THIS!". Then some immaturity is involved: "Press 5, it sounds like he's saying s***!" and "The dislike bar is the size of my d***!". Then there's memes. "I used to be a commenter like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee", "U mad?", "Daf**?" and finally, "YOLO!" Boy, does that one get annoying. All these memes and stuff need to turn their way back to Facebook and Instagram or YouTube is gonna lose its purpose. These memes are seriously becoming cliches now and need to stop! I'm sick of it, and so are a lot of people. All you stupid commenters need to stop being annoying and go back to social networking and start commenting videos for real purposes. Some of the crap they say is even totally off-topic. All of it...please...stop. Ow, my knee.

Future posts announcement

When my blog started 5 years ago, I had no idea what to write. I wrote posts about random stuff. Now, since I'm older, I post actually meaningful stuff. Here's the thing. My future posts will mostly be what I've heard in news about video games and stuff, rants, video game character fights, maybe videos, and a new segment of my blog. It's a modern version of my old posts which will be called Boredom Posts. I'll usually post these when I'm out of ideas. Due to my sense of humor, I'll post the same random crap I used to post as an optimistic and energetic kid. I'm looking forward to any posts along these lines.

Let's talk about 90s kids

Ahhhhh...the '90s. I have absolutely no memory about it, but what I do know is that everything from the 90s was still popular during my childhood. 90s kids watched SpongeBob SquarePants and Kenan & Kel on Nickelodeon. I watched SpongeBob episodes premiere from the 2nd season and watched 90s Nick show reruns later. As a kid, I remembered watching last-generation Hanna-Barbera cartoons on Cartoon Network. I wasn't into kids' shows growing up. Now that the 90s are over, people have posted total "I see what you did there" posts on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc. that only 90s kids get. I get some jokes because some of the 90s stuff didn't end until I was like six. My cousins were barely 90s kids and my uncle is a total 90s kid and he showed me and my cousins what he grew up with. He had the N64, but people still played it when we were kids. We had the GameCube, and that lasted a little longer. The point is, 90s kids really love to stick to their childhood memories, and are not trying to act old (as my brother had told me). I have noticed that kids these days are a lot different then the kids I knew. These days, they walk around cussing, carrying iPhones and riding Penny boards. Kids of the last generation had clean mouths, didn't care what kind of phone they had and rode wooden skateboards. I'm not saying this is bad, but it's heartwarming to look back at what we had and what we lost (Fleetwood Mac reference :)).

Super Smash Bros 4 Confirmed

Well, after releasing the next Sonic vs Shadow, I'm freaking excited! Super Smash Bros. 4 is happening! Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that there will be a fourth installment to the series that started with 12 characters 14 years ago and will continue with more Nintendo characters, old and new, and we will miss some characters and have some brought back. They have also been looking forward to adding a Capcom character or more. They will, however, keep it minimum to not soil the good Nintendo name. They will also attempt to bring back characters from Nintendo history and give them a more modern image. They will be showing character models and screenshots at the next E3. So, until we get a title, screenshots and characters revealed, here's a funny pic I found regarding the following.

Sonic vs Shadow 10: Metal Fury Part 2

Announcer: And now for Round 2, folks! This is about to get real!
Metal Shadow: Do you really think you can beat me?
Metal Sonic: Heck yeah I can!
Mecha Knuckles: Not if I have anything to say about it.
Announcer: We have a third combatant: Mecha Knuckles!
(Mecha Knuckles continuously punches Metal Sonic, Metal Shadow knocks him out of the way)
Metal Sonic: (lands on ground and charges gun) Eat this! (gun shoots)
Mecha Knuckles: (hit by missile) Argh! (falls to ground, gets up)
Metal Shadow: It's not a fight without the Ultimate Life Form! Chaos Control! (Mecha Knuckles and (Metal Sonic are frozen, Metal Shadow beats both up).
Metal Shadow: Chaos Spear! (Chaos sphere obliterates Mecha Knuckles)
Metal Sonic: (unfrozen) Just you and me again, huh? Great!
(The robots charge at each other, they clash and Metal Shadow sends Metal Sonic flying)
Metal Shadow: Hmm. 'Bout time I won.
Announcer: Amazing! Shadow has finally won!

New Zelda Game!!!

Me again. So, I've been a big Zelda fan for a long time after watching my dad play the first game on his  NES, and I grew up watching my older cousins and my uncle play Ocarina of Time up to around The Minish Cap. When I actually got good at video games, it was one of the hot topics of video games at school. More to the point. A new Zelda game for the Nintendo 3DS has been rumored for a long time, and the rumors are true. A sequel to the 1992 SNES game LoZ: A Link to the Past will be realeased around the fourth quarter of 2013. I have some confidence in the upcoming game, but I am a huge fan of the games I grew up with now that I can actually play them without not knowing how to use the controller. The future of Zelda is still unknown, but we have a small idea of what will become of it.
